It is an educational podcast that presents fun facts about different topics, but often the topics are entertaining and silly. It demonstrates how to provide support for arguments and how to use logic in debates. He is so generous and allows them listening privileges while he drives. My husband actually found these podcasts for our children for some of our car ride drives. Laura Wifler and Emily Jensen host the Risen Motherhood podcast. Biblical based wisdom on many practical topics that mothers face such as building and maintaining habits of prayer, scripture memory, and challenges of a working mother. The Risen Motherhood Ministry is known for pointing moms to God. Sally’s experience in intentional motherhood is hard to find. Listening feels like you’re sitting with your mentor at her intimate dining table having a cup of tea. This is one of my favorites of her books. Renowned author Sally Clarkson has written so many books that homeschool moms love, her podcast does not disappoint. Words are nurturing, forgiving, and healing. The encouragement is always there towards the gift of the mother role, and the curious child. Hosted by the peaceful voice of Ainsley Arment, any episode of the Wild + Free podcast can transform my discouraged heart. Great information on their own, and then they bring in other experienced homeschool moms as guests to share as well. This one is co-hosted by two of my favorite curriculum creators Julie Ross of A Gentle Feast and Jeannie Fulbright from Apologia. Whether you are new or just interested in a CM education, or experienced, I highly recommed this one. Sonya is so thoughtful in giving insightful wisdom of how to make the Charlotte Mason style simple to implement. We have used many of their products over the years including their Enrichment Studies, Artist Study Portfolios, Business Math, and History, Geography, and Bible. The Simply Charlotte Mason podcast is hosted by Sonya Schafer, the creator of the Simply Charlotte Mason curriculum. They all have a Charlotte Mason style lean, but any mom can be encouraged and blessed by what is shared. Here are my top 5 current podcasts I’ve been playing when I’m on the go. This post is all about homeschool podcasts full of insight and encouragement for moms, and educational fun for kids. I know you will find something – whether you’re looking for something edifying or just for wholesome educational entertainment for the kids. The second list is full of podcasts we play in the car for our children. There are two different lists: First, podcasts for us homeschool moms that provide encouragement and ideas. So, podcasts can easily fit into the schedule while making meals, washing dishes, or on the car drives to after school activities. Homeschool podcasts have proved so helpful to me! As a homeschool mom of 3, I often find it hard to make time to sit with a book other than my quiet time in the morning.
